Coming from an Internal Medicine Specialist background (Budapest, Hungary) Dr Boros-Lavack is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP).
She has been working as a private psychiatrist in Toowoomba since 2007.

Dr Boros-Lavack completed her psychiatric training in New Zealand through RANZCP in 2003 then worked as a consultant psychiatrist in Waitemata DHB Auckland New Zealand until 2006 when moved to Toowoomba to be an Administration and Consultation Liaison Consultant Psychiatrist for the Acute and Community Mental Health Service Toowoomba Hospital before starting her private practice, Mi-Mind Centre in Toowoomba.
